A plumbing and drainage contractor working across many builders needed one place for the whole operation: which crew is on which site, what stage each job is at, who worked which hours, and which inspection documents are due.
Opero gives the office a scheduling board and calendar, the crews a daily run sheet and an on-site dashboard, and management a business financials view. Timesheets flow to Employment Hero for payroll, invoices to Xero, and document templates turn a job's data into the compliance paperwork builders expect.
It now exposes a REST API, which is the foundation for the AI layer we are adding on top: a knowledge brain in Teams, an automated spec-sheet tool, and a voice receptionist for inspection bookings.
What it does
Jobs by stage
Projects and jobs move through defined stages with notes, references and materials attached.
Scheduling and run sheets
A drag-and-drop board and calendar for the office, a daily sheet for each crew.
Timesheets to payroll
Time registered against jobs, bulk-submitted on a schedule, synced to Employment Hero.
Inspections and documents
On-site inspections captured on a phone, documents generated from templates, PDFs assembled automatically.
An API for what comes next
OAuth2-secured REST API so AI agents and other tools can read jobs and write back attachments.
