HelmForge
A free, self-hosted control panel for running dedicated game servers in Docker.

Real screens from the current release, with demo servers.
- Game server control panel
- Docker on Linux or Windows, x86-64
- 13 built-in templates, plus your own
- Free to self-host
HelmForge is built for people who host game servers for friends or a community on their own hardware. You install one Docker container on Linux, or on Windows with Docker Desktop, open the panel in a browser, and every game server you create runs in its own isolated container on the same machine.
It ships with 13 game templates: Minecraft Java, Minecraft Java Modded (Forge), Minecraft Bedrock, Palworld, Project Zomboid, Valheim, V Rising, VEIN, HumanitZ, Space Engineers, Empyrion, Star Rupture and RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Admins can add any other game with a YAML template.
It is free to self-host at any scale, with no seats, no metering and no phone-home. Reselling, managed hosting or redistribution need a commercial agreement.
Features
A console and files in the browser
A live console, a file manager with an in-browser code editor, and settings pages for each game.
Backups and updates on a schedule
Scheduled backups and restarts, and automatic game updates through SteamCMD and Mojang and Bedrock version checks. On the Docker install the panel updates itself, and rolls back if the new version fails to start.
Players and quick actions
Live player tracking, and quick actions for each game, such as give, teleport and kick in Minecraft.
Users and sign-in
Admin, operator, user and viewer roles, two-factor sign-in, API tokens and an audit log.
More than one machine
Run game servers on several machines from one panel, through an agent with certificate pinning.
Notifications
Webhooks and email for crashes, backups and sign-ins.
